Mikolo Horus

Mikolo’s Horus is arguably the company’s most functional large piece of home gym equipment.

Home gym enthusiasts looking for “cancel your gym membership” functionality levels should appreciate its free weight, Smith Machine, cable pulley, bodyweight, and vertical leg pressing capabilities.

The Horus doesn’t have the thickest steel, but it is well in line with other home gym “all-in-one” machines.

How we test & score products

The Horus is an “all-in-one” training machine, currently ranked as the overall Best Mikolo Smith Machine. Designed for home gym enthusiasts who prioritize overall functionality (lifters can use it to perform traditional barbell lifts, Smith movements, cable exercises, and bodyweight work) without having to buy multiple machines.

Unlike other multifunctional Smith Machine options, the Mikolo Horus includes less common extras, specifically a vertical leg press attachment as well as dual weight stacks. These make the Horus a legitimate “cancel your gym membership” type of rack while also potentially helping trainees save money that they otherwise would have spent on extra weight plates.

The Mikolo Horus doesn’t have the largest footprint, but, being a multifunctional machine, it is definitely not the most compact rack option. It is also not the least expensive home gym rack option, but it is actually priced very competitively in relation to similar/peer all-in-one machine options.
