The Altas Strength 3059 joins a growing line of “all-in-one” machines, designed to replace multiple, single-purpose pieces of home gym equipment.
With a power rack (free weight), Smith Machine, pulley system (1:1 ratio), and bodyweight functionality, there aren’t too many modalities the 3059 doesn’t have covered.
Even among pricier all-in-one machines, the 3059 isn’t inexpensive and those with space limitations won’t exactly solve them with its somewhat large footprint.
The Altas Strength 3059 is an “all-in-one” machine, sporting multiple layers of functionality. It combines standard power rack capabilities with a Smith Bar as well as cable components, combining for a centralized training station. Lifters who are interested in full-body workouts, as opposed to more limited modality workouts, will appreciate this structure.
Lifters building out their garage gym or basement training spaces will appreciate the “bundled” design of the Altas Strength 3059. Even with a not super compact footprint, it’s space-saving capabilities beat the alternative (2 or more separate machines). Its “commercial” positioning in suggests it is intended for heavier, more consistent use than most “budget” options.
The 3059 isn’t the shortest all-in-one machine one the market, nor is it the least expensive. Still, for those seeking a legit “cancel your gym membership” type of home gym “centerpiece” item, you could do a lot worse.
